Located on St Lucia's western coast and perched high on Morne Chastanet above the beach front resort of Anse Chastanet, with magnificent panoramic views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea, Jade Mountain is an extravagance of architecture reflecting St Lucia's stunning scenic beauty.

The adventurous design by architect and owner Nick Trobetzkoy features individual bridges leading to the spacious suites where bedroom, living area and private infinity pool glide into one another to form an extraordinary platform floating out into nature. With every one of the vast sanctuaries having one wall completely open to the incredible Piton vista, you can feel at one with your breathtakingly beautiful natural surroundings.

These sanctuaries are deliberately tech-free; there are no telephones, radio or television. Internet access is available at reception and on request, it can be made available in the individual suites.

You can enjoy the exclusivity and privacy of Jade Mountain whilst still availing yourself of all of sister resort Anse Chastanet's amenities. These include its restaurants, bars, boutiques, art gallery, spa, scuba, bike and water-sports facilities as well as 2 soft sand beaches.

A wide range of spa services can be enjoyed in the privacy of your suite or at Kai en Ciel, Jade Mountain's boutique spa and fitness studio.

The Jade Mountain Club is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Live entertainment ranging from one of Saint Lucia's leading jazz musicians to a classical acoustic guitarist is presented on selected evenings. Menus at The Jade Mountain Club reflect seasonal changes of flavour with inspiration from throughout the Caribbean. Jade Cuisine is a blend of contemporary cuisine fused with traditional influences, prepared using unique techniques which result in an extraordinary taste extravaganza.

Appearing to hover in space above the Jade Mountain Club is The Celestial Terrace. Ideal for indulging in sunset cocktails or just relaxing and gazing at the stars, it is one of the most breathtaking locations imaginable. Once night has fallen, it offers an unforgettable sunset panorama for you to watch the night sky and look out for shooting stars. A private dining experience on the Celestial Terrace can be arranged.

Dining at Anse Chastanet. Jade Mountain guests can also dine at the restaurants of sister resort hotel Anse Chastanet, which is located directly below Jade Mountain and readily accessible by foot or by the resort's shuttle. Here, a seductive selection of dining options are available in a variety of intimate hillside and beach side locations. Alternatively, you can pre-book private dining arrangements at the water's edge on Anse Chastanet beach. Menus vary from fine tropical Caribbean Cuisine to exotic Creole flavours and simple grilled fare. Here, you will find it all available and more. Culinary options also include Aspara, with a St.Lucian-East Indian menu, Emerald's, incorporating a wholly vegetarian menu and the Jungle Grill for day time relaxed dining on the resort's second beach, Anse Mamin. All of the kitchen's serve organic produce from the resort's farm, Emerald's which can be found in the Soufriere hills.

FACILITIES

Jade Mountain guests are free to use all the facilities at sister resort Anse Chastanet, including a small fitness centre, boutique, ocean kayaking, PADI dive centre, deep sea fishing, snorkelling, jungle biking and two beautiful beaches. At Jade Mountain sunrise yoga is offered on the Celestial Terrace and the beautiful Kai en Ciel Spa offers a wide range of classical, Ayurvedic and holistic treatments in a stunning hilltop setting with views of the Pitons and ocean. Internet access is available at the hotel reception and, on request, can be provided in the Sanctuaries themselves.

CHILDREN

Children under 15 are not permitted at Jade Mountain.

LOCATION

Approximately 55 minutes (18 miles) by road from Hewanorra Airport, or 6 minutes by helicopter to the resort's private helipad.

Star Infinity Pool Sanctuary

The Star infinity pool sanctuaries are between 1400 - 1800 square feet and with infinity pools averaging 450 square feet.

Moon Infinity Pool Sanctuary

The Moon infinity pool sanctuaries are between 1600 - 1950 square feet in size with infinity pools averaging 650 square feet.

Sun Infinity Pool Sanctuary

The Sun infinity pool sanctuaries have the most commanding 270 degree panoramic view, and are over 2000 square feet in size, and in particularly elevated positions. The infinity pools are up to 900 square feet in size. The combination of additional square footage and amazing panorama makes these sanctuaries the most desirable for all those seeking the ultimate experience.

Galaxy Infinity Pool Sanctuary

These are the Sun sanctuaries JC1, JD1 and JE1 which are on the highest level and enjoy commanding panoramic views plus biggest square footage. Because guests have asked on many occasions to guarantee these three suites for arrival, a specific category has been created for them.

Sky Suites

The Sky suites are situated on the lower hillside level of Jade Mountain. Although the suites do not have an infinity pool they are still part of the resort and guests enjoy all of the Jade Mountain privileges. These are very spacious suites of about 1650 square feet, 4 of them with the 4th wall open, yet completely private, to maximize the amazing view experience of the Pitons and the ocean. One of the Sky suites is enclosed and air-conditioned. All of the Sky suites feature a two level room lay out, with large and comfortable living space and open bath design, with a raised Jacuzzi tub towering above living space and also open to view.
